Bakersfield Distance Project

The goal of Bakersfield Distance Project is to create a Group Training environment where one can improve their level of fitness and their distance running/walking ability.  andynoise@yahoo.com  

 

  Bagels

Running groups on Monday through Friday at 5am, and Saturday at 6am from Bagels and Blenders on Stockdale Hwy and Gosford Rd. Email the Bagel Runners
Donut Shop Runners

The group runs almost 7 days a week in the North East area of Bakersfield.  Check out the  Donut Shop Page for the current training program.  If you request to be added to the email list, we will send you our meeting places and start times for each week.

 

   Legend Inx: Running Xrew

 
A running crew based around eleven week training seasons. The schedule is designed to help you improve your fitness & racing times, we have different levels of training to fit your style. We meet Monday thru Friday @ 6am and Saturdays @ 7am join our Running Xrew and realize your true potential. Rosedale Racers
Practices are at Yokuts Park on Truxtun from 515-630 on Tuesdays and Thursday, and Saturday or Sunday afternoons 3-4 o'clock range TBA.  Please see www.rosedaleracers.com for more information. Practice will start on March 1st.
 
Recent Performance:  Rosedale Racers Boys Midget Team (11-12yr olds) placed 4th at the AAU National Championship in Orlando, FL on Dec 4th, 2010.  Their team time average of 11:17 for 3K (1.86miles) over cross country trails was faster than last years National Championship team on the same course.  Also Pedro Cruz, Bryan Lopez and Jose Perez placed in top 25 overall.  Jose Perez was 12th place overall in the 9-10 yr old race with a time of 1138.
